Wikia has two methods of adoption available:
- Adopting a Wikia wiki
- This is the process of adopting a wiki through our {{#NewWindowLink:http://community.wikia.com/wiki/Adoption:Requests%7Cadoption requests forum}}
- Automatic wiki adoption
- This is an extension on new wikis that allows someone to adopt a wiki with an inactive admin team at the click of a button, avoiding the adoption requests forum.
